Artist's Statement:
"I can't remember a time when I didn't like doing art, but I really started getting into painting in the past year, since Covid-19 began."
Featured Artist:
Mattéa Knibbs,14
Artist's Statement:
I have always been infatuated by the beauty of art. The way someone can express themselves in different ways and have other people see it without it being explained. Sometimes art is left to the viewers interpretation and sometimes it’s more direct. My drawings often create stories in my head on how the person got there and other times it’s just a drawing. I like sharing my art to make other people happy.

Artist's Statement: After the Peter Pan production ended in October (I was a pirate!) I was looking for other ways to be creative. The YouTube channel “Art For Kids Hub” had lots of great tutorials that were easy to follow and now I love drawing my favourite characters from Pokémon, Among Us and Star Wars with a Sharpie and my new sketch markers!

Artist's Statement:I LOVE art. I love art because it’s so creative and makes me feel happy. When I get mad at my siblings, or I’m bored, or anything, I just draw, or paint, or colour. Art makes ME happy.
Featured Artist:
Sophie Thomson, 9
Artist's Statement:
Sophie loves creating and crafting. From drawing and painting, to sewing and crocheting, she’s always making something. She accidentally fell into the miniature sculptures when a pile of hot glue reminded her of something (a frying pan sized for a Barbie actually!) She started making other mini sculptures from hot glue and then expanded into using foam and loose parts.
